Overview

Kenalex Developments wanted a digital way to showcase their new MeadowWoods community, allowing visitors to explore available lots and models directly on an interactive map. I was responsible for implementing a static SVG site plan into a responsive, data-driven experience.

Challenge

The goal was to make it intuitive for buyers to hover or tap on a lot and instantly view its details without overwhelming the interface or slowing performance. The interaction needed to feel smooth across desktop and mobile while maintaining pixel-perfect alignment with the underlying map.

Solution

I integrated and customized the Maplic interactive mapping tool to bring the community plan to life. Working from the provided SVG master plan, I configured interactive hotspots, hover tooltips, and a sliding information panel for each lot. I adapted the configuration and styling to fit the project’s design system and ensured the map remained responsive and intuitive across desktop and mobile.
